Anthony Brown 4/11/2012 - 4/11/2012 *Calling all lyricists, poets and comedians to audition for a new live performance competition show presented by comedian and radio personality J. Anthony Brown (Tom Joyner Morning Show) We are looking for singer/songwriters, poets/spoken word artists and comedians with original material to audition on April 9, 2012. Auditions will be held on April 9th from 1-4pm for lyricists and poets and from 4-7pm for comedians. Singers should prepare one original song and one cover, each under 2 minutes Comedians should prepare an original set under 3 minutes Poets should prepare original pieces under 3 minutes The show tapings will take place on April 11th at 5 and 8pm Audiences may attend on April 9th from 4-7pm for the comedy open mic auditions and/or on April 11th for one of the live shows occurring from 5-6:30pm and 8-9:30pm. **The show features live audiences and celebrity judges. * * Everything is free and open to the general public.
