Jeff Foxworthy, Pam Stone, Brian Regan, Anthony Clark, David Cross, Reno Collier, Finnesse Mitchell and others are among the comedians who have started or developed their careers from The Punchline Stage. They signed up to do open mic night at The Punchline, just like the comedians you’ll still see every Wednesday night at The Punchline. It’s a track record and testament to longevity that no other club in Georgia can come close to matching. Every comedian has a first day, which everyone who has ever stepped on a stage can remember.
Every comedian also has their first set at The Punchline. A legendary stage and a legendary audience, makes for a memorable introduction to the hertiage of live comedy for comedians who have been honing their skills on other stages and in other venues.
If you want to become a part of this tradition from the stage, sign-ups are conducted every Wednesday night prior to the show for the comedians who will perform the following week. Touring comedians who want to do a guest set should contact either Jamie or Marcey and stop by the club on your way through town to the next gig.
