Pauly Shore 8/12/2013 - 8/12/2013

The Weasel Returns

The self-proclaimed "Weasel," Pauly Shore, has added The Punchline to his non-stop comedy tour. His latest big screen venture is a satire about his own career decline and (fictional) attempt to revive Hollywood’s interest by faking his suicide. Like his directorial debut, "You’ll Never Wiez in This Town Again," this film is chock full of celebrity cameos, including Ben Stiller, Britney Spears, Paris and Nikki Hilton, Bill Maher, Charlie Sheen, Tom Sizemore, Ellen DeGeneres and Carrot Top.

Pauly gained national attention in 1990 when his MTV precedent-setting show, Totally Pauly, became an immediate hit and continued to run for four years, opening the floodgates for television and film roles. In the 1993m, he wrote and starred in a one-hour HBO television special, Pauly Does Dallas, which garnered rave reviews and loyal fans. He made his feature film debut in the wildly popular Encino Man, the first in a three-picture deal with Disney Studios; Son-In-Law and In The Army Now, followed. Starring roles in Jury Duty (Sony Studios), Bio Dome (MGM) with co-star Stephen Baldwin, and The Curse of Inferno (Showtime) continued to ensure Pauly’s popularity with audiences worldwide. Pauly’s five studio movies have grossed a total of well over one hundred and fifty million dollars and are constantly being shown on primetime television and all cable channels. His first comedy album, The Future of America (WTG/Sony), was named Best Comedy Album by the College Music Journalist (CMJ) in 1991. The National Association of Recording Merchandisers (NARM) nominated this second album, Scraps From the Future (WTG/Sony), for a Best Sellers Award. The third recording, Pink Diggly Diggly (Priority Records), taped live at The Comedy Store, paved the way for the fourth. Pauly is a frequent guest on Howard Stern, David Letterman and Craig Killborn. He is always in the public eye with his many sold out comedy shows.
